Brett
Harcourt
November 18, 1964 – October 15, 2025
Brett Matthew Harcourt, a loving father, brother, and uncle, was born on November 18, 1964, and passed away on October 15, 2025. His life was filled with laughter and deep connections that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Brett lived a full and vibrant life, surrounded by the people and passions he loved most. His family was always at the heart of everything he did. He also shared a special bond with his dogs, who were his constant companions and a source of joy. Sundays were reserved for watching NASCAR, a tradition he rarely missed. He also found freedom on the open road, riding motorcycles with his friends and his club, The Nasty Bastards.
A gifted mechanic, Brett could fix anything. He took great pride in his work, owning and operating his auto repair shop, Mr. Radiator, as well as his custom motorcycle business, Busted Knuckle Custom Choppers. His skill, creativity, and craftsmanship shone through in every project he touched. When he wasn't working with his hands, he loved being outdoors — hunting, fishing, and appreciating the simple peace of nature. Brett truly lived life on his own terms, surrounded by good friends, good memories, and the things that made him happy.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lee E. Harcourt and Patricia A. Clark; and his nephew, Michael Harcourt-Thomas.
Brett is survived by: his daughter, Paige Harcourt; his brothers, Roger (Patty) Harcourt and Richard (Dawn) Harcourt; and his sisters, Colleen Harcourt, Janine Harcourt, and Elisabeth (Larry) Doty. His memory will also be cherished by his long-time friend and first wife, Teresa VanEpps; second wife, Ellen English, and third wife, Michele Harcourt; his many nieces and nephews, Tanika Harcourt, Tasha Harcourt, Tabatha Alward, Lee Harcourt, Caleb Blatt, Abe Blatt, Asa Blatt, Zeb Blatt, Sabrina Calder, Sarah Harcourt, Rikki Harcourt, Gina Summers, Damaris Garcia, Emilie Lake, Abigail Glazier, and Naomi Ledesma; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Among those closest to Brett was Christian English, though not bound by blood, Brett took on a guiding role in his life, fulfilling aspects of fostering a young adult with a fatherless past. Brett leaves behind a legacy of fortitude and balance for Christian and his family to carry forward.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Brett's life. Please reach out to the family for details.
