Bobby Sheray Joy was the first-born son of five siblings to Bobby Joy and Patricia Henry.

He received his formal education from Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan. Bobby was a man of many talents. He was very athletic, enjoyed playing basketball, bowling and reading books of all types. Bobby was best known for his liveliness, positive energy, being a loving person, sociable and his charming smile.

Bobby Sheray Joy departed this life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan.

Bobby Sheray Joy is survived by: his parents, Bobby Joy and Patricia Henry; special friend, Valarie Biggs; beloved children, Raekwon Joy, Kareem Joy, JaRay Joy, NaJayah Joy, Maliyah Annise Terry, Jaydyn Woodson, and Zacarie Hill; three beloved brothers, Randy Joy, Commodore Joy, and Willie Joy; one beloved sister, Patricia Joy; grandparents, (late) Elder Frank Gill and Evangelist Lillie Gill of Evergreen Alabama, (late) Commodore Joy and Cora Joy of Memphis, Tennessee; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
