Billie Jean Davis was born September 26, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee to Earlene Gooch and Johnny Bartley. She moved to Chicago, Illinois, at the age of eight years old. She attended Tennison Elementary and Marshall High School in Chicago. Early in life, she united in marriage with her first husband, Juarez Satisfield. Later, she married Eddie Davis. Billie and her family moved to Lansing, Michigan in 2001, where she joined Jesus Of Nazareth Church Of God In Christ. She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Eddie Davis and Juarez Satisfield; four children, Gina, Neece, Malcolm and Tanya; and mother, Earlene. Billie leaves behind: her four children, Marianne, Eddie (Jennifer), Mia (James), and Keith (Tracie); twenty five grandchildren; seventeen great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of relatives, cousins, friends, including very special cousin, Gracie Reed. Funeral service Wednesday March 6 at the Riley Funeral Home, 11:00 am family hour and funeral at 11:30 am.
