Our beloved Betty Jo Duncan-Giles went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2022, with loved ones by her bedside.

Betty Jo Duncan was born November 24, 1941, in Curtis, Arkansas to Willie Fred and Oidest Lashley-Duncan.

Betty attended Peak High School in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and she worked over 30 years as home and childcare provider. Betty attended many churches and enjoyed fellowshipping with many churches in Lansing, Michigan and she loved to sing and praise God.

She loved working next to her sister Apostle Cora Duncan at Vision of Love church, later she became the church mother at God's Dynamic Ministries COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Aaron Milton, Senior Pastor and Shepherdess Kendra Milton, Pastor.

Betty Jo Duncan-Giles was proceeded in death by: her two children, Jeffery Hunter and Mary O. Giles; her parents, Willie Fred and Oidest Duncan; three brothers, Marvin, Hollis, Riley Duncan; and one sister, Gloria Walker.

She leaves to cherish her memory: estranged husband, James Giles; her son, James Giles, Jr; three brothers, Clarence Alvin Duncan, Willie Fred Duncan, Jr., Marshall Terry (Lisa) Duncan; three sisters, Apostol Cora Duncan, Martha Mae (Joe) Duncan Miles, Velvely Ann (Thomas) Douglas; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Ruth Duncan; a special nephew, Keith Duncan; a special friend, Ellie McClure; as well as numerous of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends as well as her church family God's Dynamic Ministries and Jesus of Nazareth COGIC.
