Bertha "Bert" Knapp was born June 12, 1935 in Lansing Michigan to James and Liah (Ferris) Zarka.
Surrounded by family she went to be with the Lord to her eternal rest, January 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by: her sister, Nellie Brower.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Vickie (Bobby) Houghton, Leah Cherie (Kelly) McWhorter, Glen Knapp, and Shelly (Bill) Lienhart; grandchildren, Matt Simons, Sean and Meaghan McWhorter, Trisha and Sosha Knapp, Joshua Carpenter, Cody Clower, Billy, Jordan, and Jack Lienhart; great-grandchildren, Anna, Seata Simons, Audrianna Lienhart; siblings, Charles (Pat) Zarka, Genny McAskill, Shirley Woodward, and Mary (Jerry) Randall; special daughter, Tonja Lee; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.



There will be a luncheon for Ms. Bertha Mae Knapp on Sunday, January 24, 3-6pm at Delta Community Center, 7550 West Willow Highway, Lansing, Michigan.  Contribution may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 Cochran Ave, Charlotte, Michigan 48813 in Bert's memory for their compassionate and thoughtful care in her last week of life.
