Archie Lee Peterson was born January 18, 1938 to L. B. and Pearlie Bruner Peterson in Honoraville, Alabama. Archie attended the public schools in Honoraville. He married Eula Lee Lowery. To this union, 4 children were born. Archie moved to Lansing, Michigan and was employed with Federal Drop Forge. He retired after 10 years of service, due to ill health. Archie enjoyed spending time with family, traveling to Alabama, and tending his huge garden. He supplied vegetables to family and friends. Archie was very proud of the size of the collard greens and watermelons he grew. Archie was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Pearline Forst, Allean Goldsmith, and Bama Franklin; and brothers, Earnest Peterson, L. B. Anderson, Bob Peterson, L. B. Peterson, Jim Houston Peterson, and Rayfield Anderson. Archie entered into rest on January 24, 2012. Archie leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, Jacqueline V. Peterson, Alice Peterson, Geneva Peterson, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Hayley and Heidi Peterson, both of Lansing; sons, Arthur Lee Peterson of Milwaukee, and Michael Rhyndress, Ryan Rhyndress and Jordan Peterson, all of Lansing; 13 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; sisters, Addie (Elze) Harris, Ida Hall and Lillar Simpson, all of Lansing, brother, John Peterson of Lansing; sister-in-law, Daisy Peterson of Lansing; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
