Anthony Haywood
Cheatham
March 12, 1962 – October 31, 2024
Anthony Haywood Cheatham was born March 12, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late James H. and Susie Cheatham.
Anthony was a loving husband, dad, son, brother, grandad, uncle, and friend. He worked 25 years for the Dept. of Corrections and was a well-respected and well-liked officer.
When Anthony was not working, he would be outside grilling for his family. He was known for his "famous" ranch burgers. He was a football fan who loved watching The Detroit Lions and listening to old school music. He was also a proud Spartan Dad. His ready sense of humor and great personality drew people to him. There was not a person he could not talk to. He will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.
He went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31 2024. He is survived by: his wife, Sharla Moss-Cheatham; daughters, Jasmine (Kevin) Cheatham-Smith, Jennifer Cheatham; two grandchildren, Connor and Emma; sisters, Gwendolyn (Leon) Robinson, Cheryl Lightner; mother-in-law, Rosa Moss-Hargrove; brother-in-law, Jeffery Moss; sister-in-law Darla Moss; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
