Anthony Cordell Carter Iv's Obituary
Anthony Cordell Carter IV , age 15, went home to be with our lord Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Anthony, "T.J." and "Afa", was a student at Eastern High School in Lansing, MI. He played many instruments including the tuba, which he played with his high school band. He also played football with the Kappa Express football team in Lansing.
Since he was very young, Anthony has always been on fire for the lord. Whether singing, playing instruments or volunteering, Anthony has been active in church ministry since the age of four. He was a friend to everyone he met and he left his mark wherever he went. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Rachelle Whitfield; sisters, Acamaris and Teryn, and little brother, Michael.
Anthony Carter IV visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 4-7p.m. at Riley Funeral Home, 426 West Saint Joseph Street, Lansing, Michigan.Funeral service will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, 11:30a.m. at Mount Hope Church, 202 South Creyts Road, Lansing, Michigan. Family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.rileyfuneralhome.com .
