Beloved and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother of tremendous kindness, Anne Catherine Wolf Ronayne, passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 97. She was a loving mother of 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and is now in the arms of Jesus. Born on July 3, 1923 in Buffalo, NY to Ralph and Jeanette (née Abel) Wolf, she graduated from Visitation High School in Detroit, MI and attended St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. Anne considered herself a Michiganian through and through and was a huge fan of University of Michigan football and basketball and the Michigan Marching Band.
She taught nursery school and worked as an insurance specialist for an orthopaedic surgeon group. Her best job though was helping to raise her grandson, Cullen Webster and being a Mom and Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. (A/K/A "Grammy"). Anne loved to paint and watch Michigan football and basketball. She was a devout Roman Catholic and believed in the power of prayer and was currently a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in East Lansing. Anne was a member of the Altar Society at her local church for many years and she loved to play bridge. Anne also believed in her family and always just wanted all of us together. She would say that so very often.
