Amy was born in Lansing, Michigan to Ivan and Carol [Church] Hilts. Amy graduated from Dewitt High School in 1978. She married Kirt Galatian and together they had two daughters, Andrea and Charlene. She was later blessed with her granddaughter, Kayla Bartoszek.

Amy spent her working years with AFSCME, serving others until she retired in 2015. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She loved all people with a passion and would start conversations with anyone in her path. If Amy was your friend, she was your best friend.

Amy was preceded in death by: her father, Ivan "Chuck" Hilts, and brother Eric Hilts.

Amy is survived by: her daughters, Anddie Galatian and Char Galatian; granddaughter, Kayla Bartoszek; her mother, Carol Hilts; siblings, Brad Hilts, Dawn (Ken) Goodwin, and Casey Hilts; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held January 4, 2020, two days prior to Amy's 60th birthday, in Lansing, MI. We would love for all to attend and share the joy she brought to each of us.
