Alexus Denese
Williams
February 9, 1993 – October 30, 2021
On February 9, 1993, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan, God blessed the world with the birth of a beautiful baby girl - Alexus Denese Williams. The only child born to Krista Williams-Abdallah and David Harris. Alexus fought her way into the world 6 weeks prematurely and weighing only 3 pounds and 5 ounces. After only 2 weeks in the RNICU at Sparrow Hospital, Alexus' lungs were developed enough to breathe on herown and she weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces – enough to go home.
On October 30, 2021, Alexus' breathing issues caught up to her, and God called her home. Alexus was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with
the Holy Ghost at Christ Temple Church, Lansing, Michigan, under the ministry of the late Suffragan Bishop William H. Warren. At the time of her passing she had again become a member of Christ Temple Church, Lansing, Michigan, under the ministry of Suffragan Bishop John L. Slaughter.
A graduate of Everett High School in 2011, Alexus worked at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), in Lansing, Michigan, her senior year. In May of 2013, Alexus became a Home Health Care Aide, helping those in need to be able to stay in their home. In addition, in November of 2013, Alexus became a CSR at Speedway in Dewitt, Michigan where she remained until her passing. Alexus was known to help bring a smile to many faces. Alexus loved her Speedway Family – workers and customers – many of whom called her their "Speedway Wife." Alexus was good at remembering what her "regulars" usually bought and often reminded them of why they had come in. Through all the physical pain she
lived with daily, Alexus fought to give her best always. Alexus loved hard and unconditionally, even when it wasn't returned.
ALEXUS WAS AN ANGEL IN DISGUISE!! Hebrews 13:2 (KJV)..."Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Alexus was preceded in death by: her maternal grandfather, Lawrence Williams (December, 2011) and grandmother, Shirley Williams (April, 2021).
Alexus leaves to mourn her passing: her loving and cherished daughter, Ne'Vaeh Roberts; her loving mother, Krista Abdallah; her father, David Harris; adopted mother, Marvella Jones; half-brothers; half-sisters; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of friends.
The Bible let's us know in "Hebrews 9:27-28 (KJV)... And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
WE WILL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU THROUGH ETERNITY!!
Alexus was here, and now she's gone. She left Ne'Vaeh to carry on. For those of you who knew her well, she sent her love and said farewell. To all the rest she said to say "Get it together, you too will take this trip one day."
