Alexander (Alex) Piontkowski was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 4, 1990 to Robert and Vicki (O'Connor) Piontkowski. Alex passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2023.

Alex loved driving his 1962 Catalina around Lake Lansing, cutting grass, and enjoyed the Detroit Red Wings. We will miss his big smile and big hugs. He was a gentle giant.

He is survived by: parents, Robert and Vicki Piontkowski; brothers, Jeff Piontkowski and Joshua Warr; sister-in-law, Shayna Warr; nieces and nephews, Sebastian, Emerald, Mira, Joaquin, Caiden; and grand parents, James and Doris O'Connor. Preceding him in death were: grandmother, Honorine Piontkowski; and uncle, Ed Piontkowski.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to breast cancer research in Alex's name.
