Alec Robb Kull was born in Canton, Ohio on December 17, 1944 to Jack D. Kull Sr. and Jean W. Kull. Robb graduated in 1962 from Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio. He relocated to Lansing and has been a long-time resident.

Robb died recently at his home after a brief illness on December 22, 2018. His parents preceded him in death.  Robb is survived by his brothers Joel W. Kull of Wadsworth, Ohio and Jack D. Kull (Jr.) of Front Royal, Virginia.
