Age 65, was born on March 1, 1947 in Alice, TX and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013. He is survived by the love of his life, Emma Garza; children, Jesse Romero, Rosalinda (Richard) Hernandez, Julia Garza, Mary Ann (Joseph) Kilgallon, Lisa (Daniel) Briones; 15 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; mother, Julia Zapata; only brother, Samuel Mireles of Arizona; sisters, Sheila, Elise and Susie who all reside in Texas. Friends may visit Mr. Garza Wednesday February 6, 3 " 6 pm at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 7, 1 pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph St., Lansing, MI with Reverend Dr. Melvin T. Jones officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.
