Obituary

Abby was born in Bethlehem PA on January 12, 1988 and passed away on April 12, 2026 in her sleep at home in Lansing, MI.

She was artistic, creative, smart, funny, a lover of animals, and she was deeply loved. Abby had a tender heart and loved all things animals. Even though Abby struggled with chronic illness, her smile could still light up a room.

She was generous with her time and she took pride in creating personal gifts for her friends and family. Abby shared life with her partner of 11 years, Mike Witten. Together they spoiled their four fur babies: three cats (Ramses, Loki and Venus) and their beloved Dalmatian, Charlie. They enjoyed being outdoors as health would allow at lakes or a Lake Michigan beach.

She is survived by: her partner, Mike Witten; her mother, Kathleen White; her half-brother, Owen Hoffmann; her half-sister, Mary Hoffman; her Aunt Joan White; her grandfather, Charles Wells; her cousins, Amanda, Austin, Caleb and Isaac; and aunts and uncles, Tracy, Kelly, Tom and Tina.

Abby was predeceased by: her father, Bill White, Jr. and grandmother, Helen Wells.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 20, at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing, MI 48917. Visitation is at 2:00 pm with a short service to follow.
